The aim of the project is to enhance the importance and the wealth of multiculturalism in the modern world, in order to prevent the risks of total globalisation and the standardization of the cultural models. Multiculturalism can be considered as a heritage that cannot be renounced if our real concern is to build a society based upon socio-cultural integration and emancipation from ideological barriers and racial prejudice. The concrete objectives are:

• To acquaint about cultural models different from ours, through comparison and respect of diversity
• To realize that the cultural, social, scientific progress of humanity is the result of different peoples and civilisations working together
• To recognize foreign communities that are present in our socio-territorial context with their histories, civilisations, participation into our civil, social and cultural life
